Forms, forms, forms!

Companies love paperwork! And where they are ‘green’ they love digital paperwork. If you are organised and tech savvy this is perfect, but if you are not, this can be a total nightmare. Some of the individuals we support are very elderly they may not be ‘IT’ minded and may not be able to navigate the paperwork requests.

Over the past few weeks we helped an elderly lady who had been struggling to access payments from a pension plan left by her late partner, this had been going on for 3 years. There were several requests for a LOT of paperwork. So we stepped in with her permission and spoke with the company to assist with the situation. It has now been resolved and she is in receipt of her payments.
This is just another way we try to support people on the Peninsula. We may not always have the answers, but we will do our best to help.
