Garden games over the Summer

As a persons dementia progresses activities need to be adapted to the individuals abilities to undertake them. Simple changes like large piece jigsaws, coloured dominos rather than numbered or simply slowing a game of snap down can make a world of difference and can help someone to engage with an activity. Plus the benefits of playing activities like quoits, indoor bowls or simply tapping a balloon across the room at each other helps with persons movement, exercise, coordination and can be a whole lot of fun and guaranteed to bring a smile to someone face.
