wHoo Cares & Macmillan Cancer Support

Earlier in the year the powerhouse that is Macmillan Cancer Support approached wHoo Cares to discuss working in partnership to provide support to people affected by cancer living on the Hoo Peninsula.  From these discussions it was decided that wHoo Cares would host a local event to invite people to share their experience and help shape future support for the area.
Funded by Macmillan, we will be hosting a Cancer Support Event on the 3rd of November.

The aim of the event is to establish the need of people living in our rural area to make sure that help is available locally. As well as listening to residents experience there will also be some great organisations available to give help and advice whatever their current situation.

If you or someone you know has been affected by cancer then please do pop along to have a cuppa and a chat with us.  There will also be some good cake!
